This new cookery course is a full day devoted to the art of gluten free pasty making. Adriana Rabinovich, an expert in gluten free baking will unravel all those pastry myths and demons one by one. By the end of the day you will not only be making perfect gluten free short crust pastry every time, you will have expanded your gluten free pastry repertoire to include: choux pastry, pate sucree, chocolate pastry and hot water pastry. We will also tackle the tricky subject of crackers and other tea time pastry favourites. Come join this fun class and be prepared to be amazed at what you can achieve gluten free. This course is suitable for all levels.
The day begins at 9.30am and we invite you to join us with a welcome tea or coffee in the cookery school’s dining room from 9.00am, where you will have a chance to meet your fellow delegates and Gluten free baking expert Adriana Rabinovich. Adriana will talk you through the class schedule and how the day will run before you are assigned a workspace in our fully equipped kitchen, overlooking the beautiful estate at Braxted Park.
The step-by-step tuition is fun and easy to follow and the cookery school team will be available to assist you throughout the day.
At lunchtime, everyone’s efforts will be rewarded with a glass of wine and a light lunch, where hints and tips can be shared with the group. Then it’s back into the kitchen for an afternoon of baking.
