Award winning Malaysian chef, food author and TV presenter

Norman Musa is Europe's leading award-winning UK based Malaysian Chef. He was appointed as the official food ambassador for Kuala Lumpur. He is co-founder of Ning restaurant in Manchester. He runs a regular supper club in London and owns 'Nasi Daging' restaurant in Malaysia. He has featured on Tom Kerridge's Best Ever Dishes (BBC2), Sunday Brunch (Channel 4), John Torode's Malaysian Adventure (Good Food Channel), MasterChef Malaysia. Islam Channel, BBC World, Malaysia's TV3 and in his own 13 episodes cooking show (due out in mid 2016) on Malaysian TV Channel - Chef Norman's Malaysian Herbs Journey. 

With 80,000 Facebook fans, Chef Norman has achieved much since giving up his career in quantity surveying in 2006. Self-taught and inspired by his late mum, his cooking has won the plaudits of Michelin-starred chefs and now teaches regularly in his typically engaging style at top cookery schools around the country.

Born in Penang, he was chef for the former Caterham Formula One team in 2010, before becoming the UK's Young Asian & Oriental Chef of the Year and member of the Hospitality Guild's Young Hall of Fame in 2012.

Pioneering and entrepreneurial, he has his own range of food products and merchandise. His new cookbook 'Amazing Malaysian' is out in February 2016.
