Started planning your Christmas work do yet?

We’re fast approaching the end of August, which alarmingly means that Christmas is just 4 months away, and as the nights pull in and the temperature drops, your colleagues may start to experience some of the ‘winter blues’. So why not give them something to really look forward to (other than Christmas itself) - a Christmas work do with a difference?

Here at The Cookery School at Braxted Park we offer the perfect solution to your Christmas party dilemmas, offering the perfect venue to host a unique and memorable corporate Christmas bash, your employees/colleagues will never forget!

We can be very flexible when it comes to the agenda for the day, from a hands-on one day cookery experience to a cookery demonstration with a sit down meal, drinks and overnight accommodation. You tell us what you’d like to do during your time at The Braxted Park Estate and we’ll do our very best to achieve that within your budget.

Whatever you choose, a team day out at Braxted Park is the perfect way to entertain and reward your team this Christmas. It gives them the opportunity to build stronger relationships with their fellow colleagues, in a fun and sociable atmosphere. Your team can learn new skills, cook with our chefs and get into the Festive spirit, whilst working together in a new environment.

Throughout November and December we host many Christmas parties for corporate clients looking for a unique way to celebrate Christmas with their teams. In the past some have learnt how to prepare cocktails, canapés and three course seasonal menus, all under the expert guidance of Braxted Park’s Executive Chefs, for example:

Canapés:

  • Quails Egg BLT
  • Ginger and Lime prawns with Sweet Chilli

Starter:

  • Smoked Salmon Roulade with caperberry cheese and handmade walnut bread

Main:

  • Apricot and chestnut stuffed turkey ballotine with all the trimmings (including the best roast potatoes in the world!!)
Dessert
  • Chocolate Orange fondant with candied orange

Most parties choose to work in teams and we often like to add a competitive edge by offering prizes for stand out dishes and wooden spoons for culinary disasters and messy work stations! At the end of the cookery class the teams usually sit down together to enjoy the festive feast they have prepared with a well-deserved glass of wine (or two)!
