Create the taste of Bangkok in your own kitchen

Sampling the food on offer on the streets on Bangkok should be top of the “to do” list for anyone visiting Thailand on holiday.  Not only does it taste great but Thai Street food also looks and smells amazing.  There’s a whole host of dishes available so whether you want pork cooked on bamboo skewers, noodles services with crunchy green beans and peanuts or the well-known Phad Thai, Thai street food really does have something for everyone.

While we aren’t all fortunate enough to experience the delights Thailand has to offer, it is possible to recreate the taste of its fabulous street food from the comfort of your own kitchen, using ingredients available at supermarkets across the UK.  To celebrate this, The Cookery School at Braxted Park has launched its Thai Street Food cookery class, designed to allow students to create their own taste of Thailand.

This new class, being held on December 5, will see leading Thai chef Oli Cheepchaiissara take students on a culinary tour of the streets of Thailand.  On this one day course, students will learn how to create their own Thai street dishes such as Pan-Fried mussel Pancakes, Roasted Spicy Sticky Ribs and Stir-Fried Garlic Prawns as well as a number of Thai desserts that will make you feel like you really are on the streets of Bangkok.

Places are limited, but if you want to learn how to cook delicious and authentic Thai street food in your own home, please call 01621 890300 to book.
